I really think he is going to die. It looks like a betta-sized shark took a bite out of his head. His right eye is all weird and the top of it is exposed. I really want him to not suffer anymore. I feel like he is in pain. His head looks so bad upclose and looking at him even more in the light he is DEFINITELY pineconing.

What is the humane thing to do? I don't want him in pain but I also don't want to put him to sleep or whatever you do with fish.

Just keep him warm and comfortable until he passes....

I'm sorry.....I know how hard this is.......I have been through it more times than I'd like to admit......Just know you loved him and cared for him the best you could....

Do I euthanize him? I read on ventralfins.com that you can use clove oil.

If you feel like he's suffering, yes, go ahead. I'm so sorry about your fish. You did all you could. :(

Unhappy Rip

I just wanted to let everyone know I let Turtle go about ten minutes ago. I used the clove oil method and my mom and I had a sip of wine in his honor.

RIP Turtle
