He's doing pretty good! I think I'm in love with him already. He IS doing the "How do I get out into the living room?" dance on the edges of the tank walls. He cruised by and flared at me once. His beard is coal black. Very striking. He's watching the snails that are hanging in the water lettuce roots. When the filter (it's baffled but still quite strong directly under it) pushes him down he just stays there for a sec, frozen on the gravel and then shakes himself off and continues to patrol. He's extremely active. He was really active and healthy in the store, which is half the reason I chose him. That was the reason I initially chose Tango and he has been SUCH a strong man.
Oh, and here's his tank view, whole thing... I checked the parameters this morning before I went out and it's held it's cycle (0,0,10) which is kinda why I wanted to get a fish in there soon.
