Unhappy Help!

I really didnt have much time to go thru all the threads to find the one i needed for my current situation. I was just afew minutes ago doing a water change and Ghost had jumped out unexpectedly into the sink, luckily the little tank he was in was blocking the drain but unfortunately my daughter was doing the dishes and had forgotten to rinse out the remaining bubbles of soap mind you it could atleast several seconds before I was able to retrieve him with the net and place him into his clean tank. I quess what i am asking is, is there a chance he will be alright? what should I do? He doesnt seem to be showing any effects yet but i am fearing the worst which is really sad as he is the only iridescent white twin-tail i have seen in my area.

I would keep an eye on him. Is there any damage that you can see? Is he swimming normally? I can't really think of anything to do...maybe put a little aquarium salt in?
I am sorry for your scare! Just keep an eye on him and see if you notice any changes.

Beautiful fish, and maybe I'm wrong here, as I'm immensely new to this whole Betta/fish thing but, while they're delicate critters, soap is non-corrosive. I would think that just being back in his clean water would rinse the majority of it out of him. Granted, it's possible he may have ingested a little through his gills but I don't see why that would have any major side-effects on the fish. Just my .02, but like I said, I'm new to this so I could be completely wrong. He is doing fine after 24 hours though, so I wouldn't worry too much :D Hope you get a more educated answer soon though, just to reassure you.

Unless he's in contact with it for a long time I think he'll be fine. If he didn't die in a few minuets then he'll live :)

Derp Derp, I feel like an idiot. I saw your post and it said "yesterday" so my initial assumption was that it was 24 hours ago. Didn't realize it's 12:52am here. Anyhow, hope he gets all that crap out/off of him and recovers. He sounds like he's on the right track :P

It's fine. I always freak out everytime I bleach my jars or tanks.
