Just realized my Super Delta is acutally a Halfmoon.

No, I don't have a picture. My sister's cell, which I've been using for pictures, is going away with her today. He was flaring at his reflection, and I was like, that is a FULL 180 spread. I got him for the price of a Delta, which is $7.49, instead of $11.99. His fins are a little beat up, but the 180 spread is undeniable. I wish I had pictures, but you know what a Halfmoon Cellophane looks like, don't you?

Not suprising...deltas can produce halfmoons and most deltas spread to a full halfmoon later on.

I'm so happy. I wanted a HM so badly, but couldn't quite afford it. I also saw a Delta there labeled as a HM. It was CLEARLY not a 180 spread.

Cool, reminds me of when I saw a cup at petco labeled as a female crowntail. It was a male halfmoon. lol, lucky day for me :)

Ramesses, my copper dragon delta is actually HM now too! He was a super delta when I first got him, but while he was flirting with Neffy I noticed that he has a 180 spread.. albeit with curves on each edge, so not a good HM example at all really... eh here's hoping he produces some HMs!

Cool. I have my new guy in my 1 gallon right now because one of my dividers didn't work out. But he actually seems happier. I think it's because his tail makes swimming difficult. Don't worry, I have a heater in there. I want to get him a bigger tank eventually, but can't right now. He hasn't eaten at all since I got him. =( Also, I need help with a name. I have no idea what to call him. I was thinking about naming him Saran, since he's a cellophane. lol

Hehe that's clever! And I'm not one to bash tank size. My guys love their heated 1.5 gallon houses! Hmm but as for other name suggestions I usually only have Chinese ones...

Maybe I should name him Anonymous, since I can't think off a name. Call him Anon for short. LOL. IDK! Also, it's taking forever for the water in my 10gallon to heat up with the 50watt heater. It's only gone up 2 degrees since I plugged it in 2 hours ago. I've been turning the knob up every so often, but it doesn't do much. Don't worry, my fish are in cups so they don't have to deal with possibly getting cooked. lol
