Betta Still Won't Eat

It's been what, like 1 week or so, since I've received my imports. Lyra is eating pellets now after a 4 day refusal... but Helios has yet to accept any food! I've tried live food to simulate what he got in Thailand, frozen treats like brine shrimp, garlic soaked pellets... he won't touch any of it. Doesn't even explore it.

Any advice? I know they can go a really long time without food, but I'd rather not chance it with him!

At least Helios made a grand bubble nest and swims around/explores his tank... our darn bettas! He can't die before I breed him!

I doubt he'll die... He'll eventually get hungry. I'm buying some garlic today to try to entice Miki. He acts like the food isn't even THERE!

Logan wouldn't eat at first unless I kept the light off. You could try this? It's all I can think off.

Good things happen all at once! I had recently put two girls in quarantine since they had some slight fin clamping... after a day in super concentrated IAL water they have gotten back to normal! I know they aren't 100% yet; they're gonna stay in quarantine for another week or so..

The other awesome thing is that Helios picked at some food today!! I've been offering a bunch of stuff: pellets, frozen bloodworms/brine shrimp, live bloodworms, garlic soaked pellets.. he didn't ever eat any of it! Today while we fed my hubby's thumbnail dart frogs I decided might as well drop some of the fruit flies in Helios' tank.. wouldn't hurt since we culture our own and are careful for parasites... well he ate the fly right up! We didn't have any more mature flies so I dropped one of the larvae in there, and after a few bites and spitting back out he ate that as well.. didn't accept any more of anything, but it's a step in the right direction!!
