Moving back into my dorm early tomorrow morning (in 10ish hours)

Any suggestions on making it less stressful for Marbles? aside from coming home and water changes hes never been moved so much

also I feel awful...I use the cup he came in for water changes...because I have nothing else...poor boy is gonna be traveling in it...i have no other way. I'm gonna feed him a pellet or two while hes in it as an apology...I have no bloodworms yet

Wrap a towel or scarf around the cup, and set it in a hat (a hard one, not a knit hat). It will help keep the jostling to a minimum, and the darkness will keep him calm.

You're welcome. Just make sure the top of his cup is uncovered so he can breathe, of course!

I'm moving back to school and have the same issue.

I was wondering if I could maybe put my betta in a gallon size ziplock bag about half full of water for travel? The drive is about 3 hours. Would that be enough oxygen for the trip.

As soon as I get back in my dorm he'd get put back in his tank.

I'd suggest getting a small ziploc food container (little bowls with lids), and poking holes in the lid, and using that. He will not be in danger of running out of oxygen that way.
