Very cool, and rare new fish! Woot!

Thought I would share my newest Petco find, and his home and neighbor. 7 bucks at petco got me what I thought was a halfmoon doubletail. After growing up a bit and his fins have grown, it appears he is actually a halfmoon crowntail doubletail. Correct me if I'm wrong, but after 3 weeks of his fins having the "spiny" look of a crowntail, no "fleshy" part of the fins has grown to fill in between. The "spiny" look is just now beginning on his tail fins. These pics are over a week old. No damage has been done either. Either way, I introduce Deuce Bigalow, Fish Gigolo.
...and his roomie, Metallica, peaking out from under a plant.

I just know he was listed as a halfmoon doubletail on the container. Honestly, he has so much finnage, even when he flares it doesn't all spread out like I'm used to, so it's hard to tell. If I ever get a really good pic of him, especially flaring, I'll post it, but even with him lugging all that around he is very fiesty and doesn't stay still for even a second lol. His rays are much longer now than in that old pic, I can see that much, but halfsun, halfmoon, whatever, I just know for a fact he is halfawesome! ;)

That's what I like about DBT's... they have so much energy no matter what the fin size.

A Piebald halfsun crowntail doubletail Betta... That sounds so cool...
