the heater i linked you to will work fine and will keep the bowl at a consistant temp, better than a betta bowl heater which only raises the water temp a few degrees, they are designed to work in 2gallons and up to -10 gallon

oohh! lookit the little heater! i wanna poke it! (my actual thought when i saw that. >.>;)

i may have to get a few of those for later. :d back ups!

thanks to all for the advise, i found everything i need on petco.com and i am looking into some new decorations for him i think the ones that are in there are to ruff for his delacite fins. so project "make kiyoshi a better home" begins first thing tomorrow. i will show te new results as soon as my little buddy is back to 100%.

Oh that's a great idea! Generally plastic plants tend to tear fins, so it is recommended to use silk or real plants which are easier on the fins! There's a ton of good info all over this site, so check it out! Good luck!!Can't wait to see pictures!!

i use the 2 gallon Kritter Keepers as my tanks. gives them more space to swim, and gives me more space to decorate! :3

@sjones: bet he's still beautiful, though. :3
