My moms old betta , Chi, used to Flair at her every time she walked in the kitchen...he seemed to love to "hear" her talk to him.

I dont think there is anything wrong with your betta but I think that being of their side of upside down would somehow mess with their organs and could be bad for them why I think this I dont know

I almost had a panic attack when I found Neon sleeping on his head.

Back then his substrate was large rocks and he had wedged his head in between them so I though he had gotten stuck and drowned or something...

Then I tapped the tank and he shot up like he was saying "What the heck????!!!" He usually sleeps on his tail or stomach.

Genji sleeps by his plant on his stomache. He looks so peaceful when he's sleeping but when I have to wake him up for breakfast he shoots out like an explosion went off next to him. Then he realizes that it was just me opening the door to his feeding hole and slowly turns his head to give me the face. It's quite creepy when he does that but I'd rather have a fish with character.

Lucky sleeps on his tail. Gravity is no object.
