Water?

I'm getting a betta today and I don't know what to do about water.

Should I use warm water from the tap or should I carefully heat up water from the fridge? The fridge water has a fairly fresh filter (changed it about a week ago).

What do I do?

I would use water from your tap with a good dechlorinator-be sure and equalize the water temp and get it as close to the Betta water as you can by checking it with a thermometer-if the Betta is new-add some of the tank water to the Betta pet shop water over about 30min-never use any of the pet shop water in your tank...pour half the pet shop water out and add small amount of the dechlorinated tank water until full and repeat until all the Betta water is from your tank-net and place in the new tank and top off with like temp dechlorinated water......
Love to see pic of your new Betta and setup.....
