Can you post a pic?

Do you see any raised scale

I would do a 10 treatment in QT with:
Epsom salt 1tsp/gal along with 100% daily water changes for 2 days and on day 3 increase the Epsom salt 2tsp/gal along with the 100% daily water changes for 7 more days...best if done in a small QT container that can be floated in a heated tank, however, you don't have a heater but the water temp is stable in the 78-79F area all the time so that will work too-no food for 3 days and then offer half feeding twice a day during the treatment.

If you have tannins to add all the better
Pre-mix the Epson salt in a 1gal jug of dechlorinated water and add the tannins to steep and use this water for the 100% daily water changes in the small QT container floating in the heated tank...this will make the water changes and correct dosage easier too

Cover the top of the QT container with plastic veggie wrap to help keep the air above the water warm and humid for the labyrinth organ

Be sure and attach the QT to the side of the tank so it doesn't sink or water from the main tank flows in and dilutes the Epsom salt

Make sure the water temp in the pre-mixed jug of treatment water is within a couple of degree between the fish QT water so not to cause temp shock problems when you make the daily water changes....

It can take 4-6 days to start to see improvement sometimes...all depending on the cause...but you need to do the full 10 days of treatment.

It doesnt show what he does. But hell be laying at the bottom, then float up with no fin movement. Same story when hes at the top. Also no raised scale.

The pic/video didn't work for me.....

Buoyancy is often related to swim bladder issue-.... over feeding can cause the duct to become inflamed, infected etc.....several other thing can cause this as well like poor water quality, genetic...etc.....Epsom salt (Not aquarium salt) can help the symptom

You can find Epsom Salt in just about any pharmacy section, either in a grocery store or at a CVS, Wal-Mart or Walgreens.

Ok so check in. I just put my betta in QT and put him near a bright light to check him out. The scales look as if to be rubbed off, but i'm not sure since im not positive with his coloring. Also it seems part of the "beard" is protruding from behind his operculum.
