How do you take pictures of fish?

Whenever i try, the flash is to bright, or its blurry. i cant get it right! Anyone know how?

I have a camera that has digital image stabalization, your camera might have that. The flower (macro) setting is good. Flash isnt good to use, so just make sure the tank is well lit while taking pictures :D

Oh o.o Maybe set the camera on something stable to take pictures? Or just try holding it really steady...

its not that, its fine when its not on macro, just when i set it looking at the screen its all blurry..

You need to hold down the button that takes the pciture so it will focus :3

IMO it also depends on the kind of camera... if it's crappy, then your close-ups probably aren't going to be that great.

I have a Nikon (big heavy-duty thing, not sure of what kind) and it takes much better close-ups compared to my FujiFilm.

I take it with this:



Well, not exactly... I use a 50mm lens for all my fish photos :P Flash helps big time, especially when you can bounce it off the wall/ceiling giving you softer light, as well as less stress to your fish.
