R.I.P Lucky the Crowntail and Bob and Red VT.

Well Bob the VT who had the really bad case of Columnaris did not make it today. He fought hard, but the meds were doing no good. It was starting to eat him from the outside in and he was suffering, so I had to humanly put him down. He lived a good 8 months.

My pink and white male CT died of old age. I started seeing him slow down and get worse and worse every day. Nothing was on him, maybe something internal, but I just rather think of it as old age. He had 2+ years with me. One time he even jumped out of his tank without me knowing and was laying outta water on a tote for an hour! He was dried up, but still breathing. I put him in a bowl and after 4 days he made a complete recovery. So he got the name Lucky.

And now I have another old boy, my yellow SD that is starting to slow down. I will keep you all updated on him.

How did you put him down? Microwave? If so, that's not cool at all.
