Talking Neon sure was aggressive today!

Neon, my normally layed back and calm Betta, was feeling aggressive. I did a game of chase the finger with him and he had his gills flared and his "Beard" sticking out (He only has half a beard so this looks hilarious) And he was flaring and making his fans flap.

Then I dropped in a pellet and he leapt completely into the air! I jumped in surprise and shook his tank by hitting the lid. I fed him 4 pellets and he calmed down a bit. Geez Neon, can't you go for one day without food?

Yesterday was fasting day... this explains it a bit...

Also, I just moved his tank to a different spot so he's tail biting. He's wrecking his beautiful tail...

Poor him, his beard must look funny though.
