Am I seeing double? Or had you lowered the water line so I see a rim where the bubbles are sitting then where the water actually is?

... To answer your question...
YES!
A bubble nest is your betta's way of saying. "Rawr, I'm healthy and I want to mate!"

Is that the curtains or is your water actually that colour?
And yes, a bubble-nesting Betta is a happy Betta. :)

man o day, Leon almost has 1/4 of that side covered with bubbles, he keeps making them! as for indian almond leaves, someone suggested a site here but i think aquabid has the cheapest prices that i have found thus far.

here is a link for a very good deal. 100 pieces of pretty much natural almond leaves for only 12.50 shipped. i just paid like 11.50 for my almond leaves and i only got 20 of them.

cant believe you have all those nice colored fish and no almond leaves! sure it makes the water looked all muddy, but thats what fish call home. it really helps them i think from all the reading ive been doing. just plop one leaf in a 10 gallon or half a leaf in a 2.5-5 gallon. it will sink eventually and change it every 2 weeks if you want.
