Packing everyone up into shelter.. wish us luck. We have really, really bad weather on us with tornado warnings all over us. Going into hiding because we have rotation in the area. Gotta run, weather radio just went off!
Be safe......I went through this myself last spring/summer-2 miles in either direction was leveled by the tornado and after that hit by lightning and the propane tank exploded...scary stuff........Be safe.....
We just got our power restored. Shortly after my post the weather radio went off yet again notifying we had rotation in our immediate area. The weather we were watching on TV confirmed it so off we went with the pets. It was rather hectic for a while here once the power went out and we had to rely on the screeching radio alerts. More weather overnight which is what really gets you on edge because you will be sleeping. Will update tomorrow, hopefully everything is more calm overnight.
Whaere at do you live? We just had are tornado warning a few hours ago. TV told us to stay in the bathroom and all I could think is how am I going to keep two small kids in a bathroom and what about my fish tanks lol they are family too
It was definitely an interesting few hours.. we lost a panel on our fence, it ended up in the neighbors yard and through the screen enclosure for his pool. Lots of branches and such blown around but everything else seems intact. I am going to have a closer look on the roof when I get home to check for damage to the shingles or our solar panels. That would suck..
