Question Interesting thing on common with all dead bettas

Every betta I've ever had has been found the same way when they die except for one... They've all been with their head in the rocks and their tail facing the top of the tank all facing in a 45 degree angle or completely vertical. The miscellaneous one died at the top of his bowl and was very old. Is it normal for them to end up this way? Also why do they end up this way?
Also, they all were in bowls not tanks.
I don't abuse fish I've had bettas for five years.. Just to clarify.

i got my betta 4 days ago now, he was very active at first and all i had for him was a half gallon tanky bowl thing
2 days later he was just sitting at the bottom with his head in the corner of the tank where a rock also was (so literally had his head in a little space between the two) and wasn't doing much of anything, really. he also wasn't eating or even attempting to eat.

i got him a new tank (10 gallons) with a heater and filter and now he is doing really good it seems.

he's probably cold/bored which could lead to worse things..

I think it just means their head is heavier than their tail. No joke, maybe they sink, and their heavier heads go down lower then the rest of them.

That is an unusual betta act, but I don't think it was because the head was heavier than the back! Bettas seem pretty well balanced, and when they die, you actually seem them vertical with their head up more often than you see them with their heads down. My bettas love snuggling up on their plant leaves before they go to sleep. :P

huh. Yeah I didn't think it seemed right. My boyfriend said that the reason they float is because of oxygen, so maybe they had no oxygen?

My baby Indigo just died this morning and his head was to the bottom. Maybe it has something to do with their swim bladder, perhaps it fills with water or something.

SO DOES DRAX! IT's so cute! Then he'll wake up and dash to the surface,... then lazily come back to the SAME spot and snuggle back in... Like a little kid snuggling a teddy. Last night it was so cute I actually teared up slightly thinking... "I made this little guy happy, everything in his universe is controlled by me... and he's happy. I've made a peaceful water world!"

Hopefully you all soon experience this joy! (Hey... not bragging, if you've been keeping up with Drax you'll know I've been really stressed lately trying to get this to work.)
