That is a good question, I had a Betta who also wouldn't eat anything.

So sorry about him, I've never seen a betta quite like that before. :/ I hope he pulls through! :) I would take him if I could, but I can't, so I won't/ :(

I feel his passing is inevitable because its been nearly 4 weeks now and he hasn't touched a thing that I've given him. I've also tried spurring his competitive side by housing in the divided 10 gallon so he can watch other males eating... still nothing. He just lays around all day. I figured it'd be worth a shot to see if anyone else could miraculously help him; I honestly don't know what they'd be able to do differently... but you never know!

And yes, I'm in MN now.

Aww...pretty! He really is beautiful, and I wish I could handle another right now so I could take him.... :(

Have you tried Daphnia? Or maybe thawed frozen peas? He might like those... Good luck finding a new home for him!

That is so sad! He is so pretty, and I really can't believe the colors and fins on him, it's hard to believe he is a betta and not some other kind of fish. I am praying for you and him, that he heals or gets a wonderful home. :/

Send me a PM and let me know how much shipping would cost (for express) along with what's been going on with him, where you got him, how long you've had him, what you feed, water change schedules, etc.

I'm a sucker for an adoption and I have one slot open in my future divided bachelor pad. I also have a 5 gallon hospital tank ready and waiting.

He's so pretty, I'm almost tempted to take him, but ATM my good tank isn't fully cycled yet, and I'm already a bit stressed with a sick little girly betta, and it sounds like you're doing just as much if not more than I'd be able to... plus 1F2F has offered to take him, and she'd probably be able to fix him in a jiffy, lol.
