So, I clean out Charlies tank on Saturday. Today is Wednesday.
For the past few day, my tank has been at a steady 71 degrees. I knew somewhere in the back of my head that it was not right, but it didn't click ( i usually keep my tank at 79)
So i turned on the light on his tank and it wouldn't turn on. at first i thought the light was burnt out. But then, it finally clicked. I hadn't plugged in my heater or light for the past 4 days.
I know what you're thinking; oh you shouldn't do that!!!!!
But the truth is, during the time where his heater was off and his water was at a steady 70-71 degrees, he had built his first bubble nest.
So, as bad as i feel for having kept Charlie at 71 degrees for four days, he was still extremely active!!!
