Exclamation Is he dying or is he sleeping !?

My fish has gone from totally active to barely moving/laying at the bottom of the tank and sometimes flopping onto his side.
IS HE SLEEPY OR IS HE DYING??
He was fine earlier the only thing that has changed is i did a 25% water change today...

I haven't had him for very long but now i'm getting paranoid and thinking it looks a bit like he's lost some fin-age (he's a crowntail) as well
aaah!!

Ok... now that your out for a few hours...
Your fish does sleep you know. They go into a Trance like state and ... just Zonk out for alittle while. Does he freak out if you poke the glass? If so then yeah he was asleep.

*Checks your pulse*
... Um...

*Looks at Darts*

Oh... Wrong darts...

*Flee's*

I'm sorry to hear that... Poor guy. He may have been sick with something untreatable. It wasn't your fault *hugs*

No I feel bad that I made a joke about it.

Who knows what happened. He may have been sick before you got him.

I know what you mean't, i remember reading what you said last night and re-reading what I had wrote and thinking i'll just go to bed he'll be fine, the i turned his light on and woke up this morning and tried to find him in his tank and instead found him... yeah.

SIGH.

Poor little dude, he had been going from good to bad to good then all the sudden to bad last night and now this. I really didn't think he would die though. It was all so fast. :(

I'm so sorry about your fish. I'm sure it wasn't your fault. Like Lordsameth said, he may have had something that couldn't be treated.
