Smile Neon exploring 10g photos!

He's doing a bit of glass surfing /= I just put him in tank half an hour ago and so far things are great. I'm going to be super overly picky and make sure he doesn't get any health problems for at least a week, wouldn't want that. Anyways, here he is exploring!!!

He keeps on going in the one spot where there's filter current...

Blurry Betta face!

My personal fav

I think this might be considered a "Pic spam" But yeah, he's doing pretty good. Except he's flaring too much at his reflection >.<

Yep just a sponge. But make sure when you do it you use a FILTER sponge, since regular sponges will rot in water and have all sorts of chemicals in them deadly to fish.

I think you overdid it with the filter baffle. A sponge over the outake would be adequate enough.

No problem. Mine looks kind of ugly Lol... I have a strong outtake and intake, so if I baffle one the others still just as strong, so I had to baffle both.

EDIT: I put neon in the tank with only an outtake baffle, and he got his fins stuck in the intake for a few seconds )=

when i go to the aquarium store i'll just see what the options are and go from there, i saw the plastic bottle home-made one but the edges look a little lethal

Where did you buy your filter sponge? online maybe?
And your tank is GORGEOUS!
Congratulations!
I had some trouble with my planted tank, but I'm glad to see yours doing so well!
And that your betta is thriving and happy in it!
:) I hope he loves his new home!
