Luckily bristleworms are marine and not freshwater. Now if cockroaches came in aquatic form I think I would give up fish forever. Had one of them fall on my head once when I stupidly sprayed the inside of our old cubby house with bug spray.

Poor thing probably died of fright when I started screaming.

I've had wasps attack my head before because of my citrus flowery smelling hair conditioner... apparently my friend who was with me almost choked to death on her lunch because it was so cartoony (Had been in the park).

.

There are actually freshwater bristleworms, too.

I have bristleworms in my marine tank, too. They are harmless to the fish, but I have to wear gloves when I clean out the filter or I get little prickly splinters all under the skin of my hands. Ew!
