Looking at fish, opinions please.

So I'm looking into buying some fish to breed and I would love some second opinions on them. I have compared them to IBC standards and have taken notes on all of them but I would love to here what other people think of them. Please be honest and don't worry about hurting my feelings, lol.

Please let me know which ones you like/dislike and why. As you can see I'm going for a certin colour. I'm going to to get probably 3 pairs but only one in this colour so let me know what ones you like.

I think out of all of them 6 has the best fins.

Number 1 is pretty nice but I don't like the ventral fins at all and I think his pattern could be crisper than it is.

Number 2 is very nice. My only issue is again the crispness of the BF pattern and the fact that his caudal is a little uneven. Not a big deal at all.

Number 3 has nice fins but his body looks short to me and his color is a little too dilute for my taste, but that's a matter of preference.

Number 4 has great fins also but I'd like to see a different picture of him. I dunno.. something just looks off. Maybe it's because he looks stressed out.

Number 5 's fin are "meh" to me. I like his caudal but his dorsal, anal, and ventrals need work IMO.

Number 6 has nice color and pattern and a really nice dorsal.

I would go with either 6, 2, or 1.

The shortness of 3's body was something I saw as well, I love his colour and fins though. How hard would the body be to correct?

I think 6 is really nice also but I don't love his colour as much.

I'm going to post more fish in a bit but I have a couple more questions,
So a line I would really love to breed would be a bright yellow with a really white BF pattern or maybe a blue BF. What would be good things to look for in fish to start this line?

Number 3 wouldn't be too bad... I probably wouldn't want to get a spawn sister but rather out cross to a non DT geno fem.

As for the other colors... just look for the same things. Good color, good form, crisp pattern.

I like #3 and the DT. I like the fins of #6 except when I look at the whole betta, it just looks really off. I can't really explain, just #6 just doesn't look "right" to me. I also don't like the colors of #6
