Help! Bubb;enest keeps popping!

Ok so i have the breeding tank covered in saran wrap and half a styrofoam cup is floating and whenever he blows bubbles they pop 5-10 seconds later! What do i do? The female is already released and hiding right now, and the temp is about 78 or so degrees. Should i leave them in overnight without watching them or should i let the female float instead or what?? Help is much apprieciated this ismy first time breeding without deadsunlight!!

There is no progress now....should i discontinue breeding and just re condition for another time???nobody is helping me...

I would jar the female and let her sit in there over night.

maybe he just needs a little time to flirt. maybe have her tanked beside him for a little while until hes built a good nest

How neat....first spawns are so much fun....

Tell me about your spawning tank-size, filtration, additives used and method you are using to spawn....

For the bubble nest-if you have some type of tannins to add like-dried oak leaf, IAL, blackwater extract or something like that-the tannins will help hold the bubbles

If you have filtration-turn if off

Good that you have the plastic wrap over the tank...this will help keep the air warm and humid

You may want to raise the temp to 80F

How did you condition the breeders

Any live plants in the tank and plenty of cover for the female to get away from the male...if so-I would leave them together if they have been well conditioned that is

Is she showing any signs of readiness...breeding bars, head down position...showing any interest in the nest or male
