Daphnia and bloating ?

Does anyone else have this problem every time I feed my fish frozen daphnia they bloat and start floating .... its happened a few times and I am sick of it. I am switching back to just pellets though I might get a few frozen blood worms while I am at it. This was the first time I tried daphnia and im not impressed.

Wow, how strange....usually it's quite the opposite with frozen Daphnia, it is supposed to help with bloating and SBD.....maybe you ended up with a bad batch?

yeah, I would try dried. Thats what I use. Frozen anything has air bubbles in it. Would not surprise me if they floated.

I have been using frozen for a few weeks with both of ours and no issues. I let it sit and get to room temp and only feed them a couple of tiny specs of it. What brand is it if you don't mind my asking?

I think Hikari is what PetSmart sells.. that is what our brine and Daphnia are labeled.
