Cool Platy Fry! :D (with pics)

So, I've had my platies for a little over a month and I've been waiting for babies. I was taking pics of my bettas when I stopped to take one of the platies and I saw a baby! Then another and another. I basically tore apart my tank to get them all in the breeder trap. Now I've got 14 or 15 fry. They are all yellowish and most have two tiny black dots on their tails. The mom is a yellow and orange painted platy with a pretty greenish iridescence and the dad is a panda platy. I am quite excited. Although I feel like it will get old fast

So here they are!

Are they in a net? Does it work well? I wanted to put my guppy fry in a net, because the darned floating hard plastic one keeps sinking, but i was told the fish eat the fry through the netting..

No. I do have a red wag female in there, but she's not the mother of these. These are out of my yellow painted platy.

cucumber-
i bought a marina breeder trap. It was like $5. It's a plastic frame with a netting that goes over it. It also has metal hooks that latch onto the side of the tank to keep it from sinking. It seems to work fine. This is the first time I've had fry, but I don't see how the adults can get to them through it.
