Just wanted to do a little dance *shakes rear* and sing "Im cycled, Im cycled". Started my first ever cycle on new years eve and today I introduced Rocky to his new home. All went exactly as it should in regards to ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels and after I got my 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and off the charts nitrate and let it stabilise for a few days I did my 100% water change and layed out the 'final' set up. Rocky has spent the evening flaring at his reflection but other than that I think he is quite happy. I will have to set up a filter baffle as soon as possible and it looks like the ones on this site will be easily modified to fit my hood. I also need some new plants as the purple waffle my LPS sold me as an aquarium plant is sure to die as it is only semi aquatic. After those couple of things I think I might be shopping for a few pygmie cories, some shrimp and I am also looking for a few bright 'mid level' fish... just to add a bit more colour and movement around the middle of the tank. Maybe a few guppies?
