Thank you so much for walking me through my first betta disease! Several days ago I dug out my old 5 gallon, filled it halfway, and put in her quarantine tank along with the heater from my cycling 10 gallon. It's worked very well; her water is at 82 degrees, and almost immediately the spots on her caudal fin were gone. I will keep her in her salt quarantine for two more days to make sure any lingering parasites die, and then I'll move her into her permanent 2.5 gallon home! Thank you so much!
