Oops! I forgot...

I would give your betta a day or two, and try again. He may just have to work 'something' out of his system. Bettas can go a few days without eating.

What they can't go without for even a day is clean, conditioned water and heat.

If your room temp is below 76F, your betta could be chilled. He'll feel more comfortable @ 78-82F. They are tropical fish and do need the warmer water, particularly if they are not doing well.
