Bad News Again.
This morning, another one of my females started dropping fry. The first fry came out normally, then the next two were only half formed and dead. The third one was born alive, but is really weak and I'm not sure he'll survive. The last one is stuck on the way out. I'm worried that the mom might die delivering the last fry. Please help me!

Its a miracle! After more than 2 hours, she finally delivered it!!! I'm so happy! Even though the fry is barely alive, atleast the female survived! She dropped two more after that. The fry are all 3 times bigger than the fry that were born 3 days ago, but they are veeerryy weak. They mostly just lie at the bottom of the tank, unmoving, unless I bother them. Then the swim around frantically before settling down again.

The last time my molly had babies almost all of them were born with an open stomach. When I got them out of the tank and put them in a one gallon tank they were doing tge same thing your guppies are doing. Only 4 died the rest are alive and well in a planted three gallon. Im pretty sure your guppies will be fine.

Thanks for the reassurance. How many babies did you have in the end?

You need to separate the fry and adults so they don't get eaten!

I bred guppies in my 10 gal for a bit after my betta died. The darker ones ended up all being males, and the lighter ones all females (or at least in my case) A dilema I had with them breeding so often, is I would have a batch, then another, but the first was too small to be with the parents, but too big for the newborns. You might opt for some sort of divider since the baby fry dont need too much room.
