Growing out baby brine shrimp

I would really like a constant food source for my bettas so I dont gotta keep buying that expensive freeze dried stuff. I have baby brine shrimp and the automatic feeder to hatch them. Can I put this in a tub, hatch them, and then feed them brine shrimp food until their adults. Is that all there is to it? I know people said diseases but I think my baby brine shrimp will be fine if I kept them inside my bedroom right?

Actually, fry don't eat freeze dried stuff. You have to feed them micro worms, vinegar eels, baby brine shrimp and infusoria. MrVampire sells microworm cultures. Maybe he can give you a good deal on some.
