Is he a tailbiter?

I think my little boy lynx might be a tail biter! He has rips in his fins. There not chunks or anythhing just little rips. Could it be his plants?

Depends , do u have sharp plastic plants or ornaments in the tank that could have snagged? I'd not hen he could be stressed out with something in his tank I.e airstone , strong filter ect . Or he could just be getting inthe habbit of biting, one of my bettas Sam is a cornice tail biter but that's just how he is , not much can be done in that case ( personally I think same does it to show his dominance in front o my other male betta lol) hope something of that helped :)

Thats ok but that was the only other thing I could think of even though I doubted that it was the cause.
