Hi all. I'm a proud owner of three bettas. I've read on this forum about bettas with different personalities and such. Honestly my first two bettas are pretty mellow and they seem to enjoy they're tank mates. Each have two albino corries, placo and two ADF's. Well wouldn't you know that third times a charm. My new betta which I call Omega is way different then the other two! As soon as he sees my by the tank he'll come to the edge and swim up and down begging for food! He won't stop eating! Lol I regulate his food tho, don't want to overfeed him. I also have a live plant that is shaped into a ring that I recently bought from Petco. He loves to swim circles around it over and over. Well I'll end my rambling just wanted to share my first experience with a very active Betta named Omega. :) Can't wait to see what other cute things he'll start doing.

Yep, he's a VT for sure... his web-reduction isn't quite up to par for a CT.

My two guys have totally different attitudes (or lack thereof). Pontos likes to swim around, he'll flare his gills at the mirror and swim around as if to show off his territory or something. He seems to notice me near the tank too. I think he recognizes the camera too. Nereus is a timid wuss lol. He doesn't really do much, except get freaked out by what he probably perceives as rapid movements. Pontos is a veil tail and Nereus is a crown tail. Do they tend to have different temperaments?

The betta bug bit me again! Went to Petsmart to buy some blood worms and came out with a new betta, tank, heater and the food.... Oh boy.... Lol
