New 10 G tank

Hi all

Totally new at this, bought a 10 G with heather and filter a few days ago and set it up. I haven't bought the betta itself as im still looking around for one that catches my eye.

However to just start the tank off I bought 3 ghost shrimps and 5 neon tetras. I would like to consult everyone's expertise as to whether I can still add one variety to the tank aside from the future better. I have read the site throughly in the last 4 days and the dozens of post on compatibility already, im thinking bottom feeders but I don't really like molly's.

Thanks !

If you already have shrimp and tetras and you plan to add a betta, you probably shouldn't add any more fish. The fish that would be ok with a betta tend to be schoaling fish and need to be in groups of their own species, which would overstock your 10g.
