Question Quarantining Mystery Snails?

So last time I added mystery snails to a tank, they brought these little... erm... creatures, shall we say. One little swimming black dot, and another thing that looked like a shrimp or some sort, only... it just wasn't. I don't know what the heck these things were. They were small- small enough for a betta's mouth.

They didn't cause any damage to the tank or fish or anything, but I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to quarantine the snails next time I get them? Because I don't want these little bugs swimming around in my next tank.

But if the little creatures were parasites... how do you treat snails for parasites? Can you even treat snails for parasites?

Or are you supposed to quarantine snails anyway? I'm not too sure. I've only owned two snails, the two that had the little bugs.

I'm sorry for the rambling here, but I'm a bit confused...

Edit- I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, too... wasn't sure where to put it.

Sounds like daphnia and seed shrimp. They are fine. You don't need to QT mystery snails.

Alright, thank you... I was pretty sure they weren't harmful but I just wanted to make sure.
