Idk, to me it looks like the white patches, her right eye and around the mouth match the first fish, but like I said, I don't know.
Maybe you can contact the seller and get a partial refund, she is beautiful regardless.

Oh sorry, I meant I think it is the same female. Her head and basic body shape is very similar. The only thing different really are the fins but they're clamped up more so it's not a fair comparison.

Either way, I think she's nice whether the original female or not

Her head and body shape really resemble the first pictures, but that is quite a color change, so if that happened before you got her they should have updated their pictures I think. Both colors are pretty, but the first of course matches your beautiful boy~ I don't know a single thing about the genetics though so who knows what you could get.

From what I understand, there'd be marbles with blues, greens, and a few steel blues.

That definitely could be the same fish, probably is. The thing with marbles is they change so much and sometimes really drastically! Another thing with aquabid especially if the breeder has the fish listed for months is that they usually don't take new pictures of the fish. So if she was listed for awhile and then you bought her then its very likely she changed colour during that time

Most likely the same. She has the same body in both pics. My female went from mostly white, to black, and now back to white in two weeks. She may just be a marble that has more than two color genes. The babies will be marbles and butterflys, and green and blue will be their colors.

What a lovely little girl! But I honestly don't think it is the same fishy! The eye color is completely different, and although the sizes are very similar, most females have a similar size. Regardless, she is very cute, but still... :D

Can eye color change too? Very confused about marbles and their coloring-shifting ways...
