mr phinnyass the pain in the---

So he gets along with 3 pepper cories ( i know i should get one more, but ive only a 10g)

the only problem is, now he feeds like them

as in i try and feed them, he eats all the food and has gotten really fat, even his tail meat looks pudgy.

Ive tried dropping sinking pellets light out...he finds it
ive tried submerging flakes and letting them sink... he still find a few

ive tried putting him in a bowl for an hour... he hates it so much he tries jumping

im currently fasting the whole tank for a coupple days, but i don't want to deprive the cories as theyre just small 1 inch ones.

my next plan i think is try one of those betta seperators you latch onto the inside of a tank i see my lps keep bettas in sometimes dureing feeding time.

such a bloody pig.

Maybe you should try tweezers to make sure the cories get a little something and fast this guy?

maybe... i can see how much reptile feeding tongs are

even fasting hes got bulge to him now. and then i stick my tongue out at him, and he flares at my tongue XD
im starting to worry a little because his colour is fading and that may be him being a little sluggish, or eating catfish food that dosen't contain colour enhancers... sucks too cause i enjoy the cories as much as him now

Go to your LFS and get a breeder net :) that should solve the issue ^.^
Just feed your lil guys a few hours b4 lights out so you can let your betta back out b4 bed

i got one of those teeny kritter keeper style bins i can set aside as a hospital tank or holding bin for tank issues, and i found he was alot calmer in that with a thin silk hankie draped over it like a bird cage while i let my cories munch out on 1/4 a sinking pellet, and let him back in when there was only crumbs of the pellet left that only the cories would be able to suck out from between the gravel. i might try placing my gold clam in there with the watter chummed out a little to give him a meal, as its hard to tell sometimes with those if theyre getting enough
