So are you doing a fish-in cycle? =]

And as far as plants go there are several members on this forum that are knowledgeable about plants! =]

I agree with the anubias and Java fern! They're nearly indestructable! So is water Wisteria which is sold at petsmart and petco as well =] If you'd like to buy plants online I can point you towards some really great sites with great prices! =]

I might take out some of the gravel as it's not completely necessary and it's detracting from swimming room but other than that your tank looks great and your boy looks happy! =] (I love his name btw! :D)

Oh my goodness, he is GORGEOUS! Definitely the deepest blue I've ever seen. So glad you rescued him. You seem to be doing everything right. I'm glad you posted the second picture, because I couldn't find him in the first. >.>
