He isnt loosing color or anything and he still eats like a pig. I was just wondering if this is normal?

This looks completely normal. My fish eat like a pig and speed around all the time. Your fine. :D

I did some research and it seems i was worrying about nothing... They are happy cuz all of them do it. It was just when I was 15 I had a betta and I had him in a fighter tank and he didnt do that. I now know it was because he was unhappy because of such a small space, on top of that I was told to change his water like 1 time a month... I feel so bad for this little fish now that I know what I know... He did last 2 years tho. This was like 7 years ago.
