What is the smallest type of goldfish/goldfish setup you can get?

m boyfriend LOOOOVES goldfish and he loves my Marbles...I was debating getting him one for his birthday in April but I dont know if I could get him something small enough for the space he has. Is there a small variety of goldfish that can live in a smaller tank?

I won;t get ANYTHING without proper info, dont worry! I'm just trying to see what the smaller species out there are.

Thanks!

All gold fish are the same species. You will need at least a 25 gallon for one fancy, which is the smallest type.

If you are willing to get the 25+ aquarium, you should get a rubbermaid that is clear! I got 26.5 gallons for 15$! These make great aquariums!

None really....... There are some smaller carp species that look like goldies, but are grey(usually) and are hard to come by.

For a 10-15 gallon aquarium? Corydoras catfish, guppies, platys, neon tetras, other small-medium sized tetras, endlers livebearers, dwarf gouramis, sparkling gourami's, and otto's.
