so what is it, i love switching foods and giving my boys all kinds of food, so whats your.. also my lfs, carries live blood worms, is it okay to dump a couple and let the betta eat them when he wants
I use Nutrafin Max flakes, alternated with pellets, occasionally Nutrafin Basix Betta Food/dried bloodworms, Freeze dried brine shrimp, frozen bloodworms, and frozen brine shrimp. Not given all the time, the pellets are the main source as is the flakes.
yea, i know blood worms are for treats, only one of mine actually likes them. also to the people thats had bettas a while, does the food really enhance color of fish.. really dumb question but hey..
I feed a mixture of NLS Betta, NLS Grow, Attinson's Betta, and Omega One Betta Buffet pellets. I also feed frozen blood worms, brine shrimp, daphnia, mysis shrimp, and glass worms. For a treat a few times a week I feed live white worms. Once my culture begins to thrive I plan to feed mainly the live white worms.
I mix and match. Like humans, my motto is the more variety the better for my fishies.
Daphnia, Brine Shrimp, Shrimp pellets, Algae Wafers, Plankton, Bloodworms, Flakes are all on the food tray. They will get each of these food types during the week
I just bought my wet kid's a little tube of tropical fish food from Zeller's, I think it's more veggie's then meat but eh! veggie's are supposed to act as a laxative for them right? Plus there's a Betta on the picture so I guess it's ok, anyway's I soak a small bit of that food for them once a week..so no harm I think.
I needed a food to fill in Wednesday with.
I have a food for everyday of the week, two kind's of pellet, that tropical bit's thing, flake's, FD Brine Shrimp, FD Bloodworms and FD krill.
I think the Krill is a big crowd pleaser for my boy's.
Call me obsessed, but I want nothing more then the best for my pet's!
Omega One, NLS Grow and O1 flakes, frozen bloodworms, brineshrimp, daphnia, mysis shrimp. It's so much easier to feed flakes to the girls but they still get frozen to suppliment. The more protein the better in other words :)
