I bet you guys can help me with this...

Well, I have a 2 gallon Aqua Scene Desktop Aquarium by Top Fin, but I'm looking for a small thermometer that I can stick in there. Sadly, the only pet store by me is Petsmart and Walmart, but that's sorta far... So if you guys can find me a cute lil' suction cup thermometer for my tank, that would be great. <3

Aww rats! I got a mini-thermometer a while ago but it was made by some random chinese company. It was about 2" long. I can try to get the name next time I go by the store and you could look for it on eBay OR failing that, I don't mind buying one for you (they're like $3 CND) and mailing it to you as long as you pay the postage.

The hydor mini heater is only $11-$13. It is pre-set though. It can go under gravel or on a suction cup. (It comes with one.)

You can tuck it in a corner so it's not as obvious.

Crazykat-I'm looking for a thermometer; but thanks, I might need a heater too. :3

kelly528-My parents said no, but thanks, I'll try looking for it. :)

By the way, I looked at this Top Fin Floating Glass Aquarium Thermometer and thought it was a great deal for only $3.. But i'm kinda skeptical. Anyone have any experience with this thermometer...?

Walmart makes them o_oU I bought one from both places for only $2 max. Walmart's is some cruddy company and/or a topfin/tetra kind.
Its a suction cup one, they work well!

if you need a thermometer you can just use the kind that you put on the outside of the aquarium they are pretty cheap and actually a lot more reliable than you would think but they are a little off

That's what I'm using, Bettamaniac, an outside sticky thermometer. I hope it's not too 'off'...I've got a 25W pre-set heater in my tank. I can only get the temp up to 74-76 with the heater...if the thermometer is reading accurately..
