Exclamation Walmart: the poem (mistreatment of bettas)

Come one come all!
Riches a plenty lie beyond doors of gold!
Little from the pocket to hear luxury's call!

Smiles everywhere, children laughing,
they dance amidst the rows and rows of wealth,
they smile without thought that something is attacking.

Rows of wealth, rows of graves,
Riches and death,
isn't that the way Wally World behaves?

Wonder and joy, disease and all that's vile.
What's the difference?
Still the children play and smile.

"Don't mind the graves,
Oh, please stay and play!
The graves are just a silly haze!"

Beautiful, joyous, graceful.
With brothers, sisters, friends, enemies.
Families. Their lives were not wasteful.

Lives destroyed. Torn apart. To no one's surprise
They now lie still and do not breathe.
They now stare at me with unseeing eyes.....

Pleading eyes that had said at their last breath:
A voice then echoes: "Did you forget about the wealth?"

Sick smiles, twisted dimensions sweet spring flowers combusted to flames.
"You have found our secret but pay no mind....
After all they don't walk on two legs or even have names!"

"They are less than you, less than me,
bound by fins, trapped in their labryinths,
now can't you see????"

I see indeed. Horror was covered with gold.
Smoldered the flowers the evil did.
And so were these lives, low and behold.

Innocent lives that were given fins at life's beginning,
like us they live lives and are the lives they live any different then lifeitself?
Stop insanity, and don't let mankind be the apocalypse of a utopia.

(This poem shows the true insanity of the fish section of walmart. Or at least most walmarts. Other fish stores treat their fish this way too. This mistreatment is not something to be overlooked. What is really scary is that most people, even my family, would have thought that i was overacting in the writing of this post when really this is a true injustice of LIVES. They are DYING and nothing is happening to STOP the death! They may be "just fish" but you know what? That means they are "just lives"!!!

Good poem. The wal-mart in my town actually stopped selling fish many many years ago. I don't remember it but I do remember the unclean tanks and dead fish. It broke my heart. :(
