Cloudy Water (with no fish?)

I didn't know where to put this, so if this is in the wrong topic, my apoligizes.

I have a 1.5 gallon tank, it has no fish at the moment, but the water looks like its cloudy, like fog underwater. I cleaned it just the other day after my betta died, I took everything out and washed everything with tap water, I have bowl buddy tablets for taking the chemicals out of the water (our water system doesn't have a filter, we drink bottled water), the water was clear until this morning.

Should I not use the bowl buddy tablets anymore? Or is there something else that might be causing it?

My moms cat likes to put its paw in the hole on the lid of the tank, I plan to put tape or something over it to stop that.

Any advice?

Give it a day... it should settle down.
If it doesn't then switch the declorinator... never used tablets so I don;t know how good or bad they are.

The water was clear the next morning, thanks! I'll get something different to declorinate the water, I don't want the water turning cloudy again.
