Question Bettas & Blackworms

I called my LFS to see if they had an live bloodworms or brineshrimp and they don't have either. They did say that they have blackworms though. I've done a bit of research on this species of worm now and they seem like they are easy to culture.

I was wondering if bettas can eat blackworms and if they are a good food to use for conditioning?
