Found these while looking round the internet. My husband says they are really ugly but i think they are cute in an weird kind of way. So cute or not.

it has feet?! you wanna see crazy looking fish watch those documentries about the deep sea creatures. Some of them look like they could pass for aliens! My first impression on that lil guy you posted was a quick ewww lol but the more I look at him the more he is growing on me

Thats a batfish, a species of deep sea creature that lives in the midnight zone. They use their fins like legs to crawl on the ocean floor.

By the time they could even get one to your house it would be dead. They require the water pressure in the midnight zone for survival. A comparison to that would be if you had 2.5-3 SUVs stacked on your big toe.

Yes, thanks, I'm aware of the impossibility of this being done, barring an intensely high pressured tank to simulate the benthic environment they'd require. Just sayin'....
