Gosh I hope not because he's PRETTY!!!!!! <3 If his tail changed I know I'd be upset. I'd still love him<3 but I'd be a bit disappointed.

I would buy this fish, but I can't justify spending that much for something that won't pass down to future generations.... or would it? Is there a gene that causes the separation of color like this? Gah I don't know! Haha.

LOL.. I love how some marbles can get passed off as RARE and sold for $50 (with mediocre fins).

He's really pretty though but that sort of thing has got to be influenced by the marble gene so there is no telling if it would be passed on to future fry. It'd be cool if it did stay that way. That's one of the most interesting bettas I've ever seen.
