What do you think?

3 goldfish in a 29 long with 2 filters? I have read about the horrible way their organs outgrow their body if the tank is too small. Petsmart guy told us this would be fine. Thought I would double check with ya'll...

And petsmart guy seemed pretty knowledgeable.

3 fancy goldfish would be fine. If it's a common goldfish, however, it would be too small for 3.

They are the ones like the fancy where they get bulky and about 6 inches rather than long. They have the funny poofs on top of their head...

Most likely they are lionhead goldfish and they often get larger than 10 inches not 6 inches.

Those are Oranda goldfish!! So cute.
I think you can only put 1 in a 29 gallon, maybe 2.
They need at least 20 gallons each.

So does the inch per gallon rule not apply to goldfish?? We are double filtering to help with their waste issue.

Goldfish need more space because of their waste, even with the heavy filtration.

Ok. Thank you! We will just plan on upgrading soon. I'm not wanting to cause harm to my fishies! :)
