is Marbles living up to his name? (pic heavy)

so...uh...I've noticed a bit of extra blue speckles on his side and above his little red smudge near his gills...I think my boy is marbling!

old pics:

recently:

so scuse the picspam...

what do you guys think? is he living up to his name or am I just a crazy betta owner?

also...if he is...how far do you think it'll go? will it just be splotchy or will his body completely change colors?

I think he's changing! Marbles are so fun. My first fish Ganymede, the guy in my avatar, started so light and ended up piebald, with a light colored head, a dark blue body, and dark blue fins streaked with green; I've never seen another fish like him. You never know how a marble will end up!

Definatly a marble! All Bettas with random splatters, no matter how small, are marbles. Congrats Lol. Also, I noticed most marble VT's are cellophone (or something close) bi-colors...

@Aluyasha: thank you! He's a cutie alright...got quite a personality. Keeps me company in my dorm =)

@LolaQuigs: Wow, sounds pretty! I'm wondering if he'll lose a lot of his white or what. The blue seems to be coming in increasingly faster.

@Baylee: awwww I like cellos...Marbles is a CT though...however he does have a bit of semi-transparent white on the tips of most of his spikes

the last pic is the best probably...looks like his little face is getting a sort of maroon color, his back is navy blue, and his tail colors seem to be spreading onto his butt =)
