Half Water Half Land Tank

I'm looking for a tankmate for my one female betta. I was thinking of getting a frog, but one that is requires land and water. Does anyone here have experience keeping the two? What other kind of fish can I keep with the female? I have a ten gallon.

Also just another thought...would it be possible to keep a dwarf puffer with my betta?

I don't think a frog would go well with the betta. Dwarf puffers are aggressive and will fight with your betta to the death.

They have fully aquatic frogs that just kind of hang out at the bottom, or you could consider some netrite snails or a small school of neon tetras. My male never had an issue with my neons an they are fun to watch school, just have to make sure you get enough for a school. I think that would add some nice movement to the tank, and more color!

If you're going to have ANY frog, an African Dwarf Frog would be best. They are full aquatic, and won't eat your Betta (they're too small).
